Configuring AD Account Password Login

Authentication Source

# Overview

This chapter introduces the integration configuration process for AD protocol authentication login. After configuring the integration of an AD authentication source on the IDaaS platform, refer to this module to configure AD authentication login, allowing access to application systems using AD account passwords.

# Prerequisites

  • Have administrator privileges for the IDaaS Enterprise Center platform.
  • The application has been integrated on the IDaaS platform.
  • An AD authentication source has been configured on the IDaaS platform Configure AD Authentication Source.

# Configuration Process

# Steps

# Configuring AD Authentication for an Application

  1. Log in to the IDaaS Enterprise Center platform. In the top navigation bar, select "Resources > Applications". Taking the User Center application as an example, select "User Center", switch to the "Login Configuration" tab, scroll down to AD, and enable the previously added AD authentication source.

    • Password authentication, AD authentication, and LDAP authentication can only be enabled one at a time.
    • An application can be configured with multiple AD authentication sources. When multiple sources are configured, authentication will be attempted sequentially according to the previously configured order. If the first authentication source succeeds, subsequent sources will not be used.

# Verifying AD Account Password Login

The actual AD authentication login flow is related to the "When user is not associated" option in Configure AD Authentication Source. Please refer to the interface prompts for login.

  1. On the User Center login page, switch to "Password Login" and log in using an AD account and password.
