Configuring LDAP Account Password Login

Authentication Source

# Overview

This chapter introduces the integration configuration process for LDAP protocol authentication login. After configuring and integrating the LDAP authentication source on the IDaaS platform, refer to this module to configure LDAP authentication login. Users can then log into the application system using their LDAP account and password.

# Prerequisites

  • Have administrator permissions for the IDaaS Enterprise Center platform.
  • The application has been integrated on the IDaaS platform.
  • The LDAP authentication source has been configured on the IDaaS platform.

# Configuration Process

# Steps

# Configuring LDAP Authentication for an Application

  1. Log in to the IDaaS Enterprise Center platform. In the top navigation bar, select "Resources > Applications". Using the User Center application as an example, select "User Center" and switch to the "Login Configuration" tab. Scroll down to the LDAP section and enable the previously added LDAP authentication source.

    • Only one of Password Authentication, AD Authentication, or LDAP Authentication can be enabled at the same time.
    • Multiple LDAP authentications can be configured for a single application. It is recommended to place authentication sources involving a larger number of users earlier in the configuration order. When multiple authentication sources are configured, authentication will be attempted in the configured sequence. If the first authentication source succeeds, subsequent sources will not be used.

# Verifying LDAP Account Password Login

The actual LDAP authentication login flow is related to the "When user is not associated" option in the Configure LDAP Authentication Source settings. Please refer to the on-screen prompts for login instructions.

  1. On the User Center login page, switch to "Password Login" and log in using the LDAP account and password.
